Nerve and blood supply to left trapezius muscle
The muscle has been reflected laterally from its origin. The underlying fascia remains intact.
- Origins of muscle trapezius (cut across)
- Superficial fascia (deep lamina of external layer)
- Accessory nerve (XI)
- Trapezius muscle (reflected laterally)
- Acromion of scapula
- Branch of superficial transverse artery to trapezius (divided)
- Deltoid muscle
- Lateral brachial cutaneous nerve
- Intercostobrachial nerve (displaced upwards)
- Teres major muscle
- Triceps brachii muscle
- Spinous process vertebrae C. VII
- Trapezius muscle
- Rhomboid major muscle
- Sacrospinalis muscle (beneath lumbodorsal fascia)
- Triangle of auscultation
- Latissimus dorsi muscle
