Lentiform nucleus and inferior occipitofrontal fasciculus
The temporopontine fibers of the internal capsule have now been cut away to reveal the gray matter of the lentiform nucleus directly above. The inferior occipitofrontal fasciculus is seen lateral to the nucleus.
