Posterior pelvic wall viewed from in front and to the left

The specimen is the same as that shown in view 172-2 but in this instance it is viewed in such a way that the structures associated with the posterior wall of the pelvic cavity are visible. The rectum has been resected and the bladder has been pulled forward with the reflected anterior abdominal wall.
