The testis has been cut in a sagittal plane. The plane of section does not include the entire length of the epididymis due to the fact that the body of the epididymis curves away from the sectioned surface.

- Efferent ductule of testis (one or two other efferent ductules are indistinctly visible in the image)
- Mediastinum testis (rete testis not grossly visible)

- Connective tissue
- Ductus deferens (cut across, note thick muscular tunic, thin mucosal tunic and small lumen)
