Dissection of pericardium and heart in situ
Interatrial wall sectioned; sinuses of pericardium
The interatrial wall has been cut vertically to show the relation of the fossa ovalis to the left atrium. The remains of both ventricles and part of the posterior wall of the left atrium have been removed so that the oblique sinus of the pericardial cavity may be visualized.
