- ArticleBruggmann S, Keller H, Bertschinger HU, Engberg B.Vet Rec. 1977 Aug 06;101(6):109-11.A new method for quantitative detection of antibodies to Mycoplasma suipneumoniae in pigs' sera has been developed by the application of an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The results show that the ELISA is specific and highly sensitive. In experimentally infected pigs antibodies could be detected several weeks before the clinical manifestation of enzootic pneumonia.
