This book is intended for medical students, internal medicine and nephrology trainees as well as seasoned clinicians involved in the care of patients with kidney disease. The book is divided into two sections. The first part discusses the general approach to disorders of the kidney. The second part of book will address individual topics under each of the following categories: Electrolytes and Acid–Base Balance, Tubular, Interstitial and Cystic Diseases, Extrarenal Diseases, Glomerular and Vascular Diseases, Hypertension, Renal Replacement Therapy, and Transplantation.
