Real-Life Stories. - ArticleMashkov AV, Dumnova AG.Zh Mikrobiol Epidemiol Immunobiol. 1977(1):127-31.Single examination of the urine and blood by the method described in this paper was carried out in 14 children suffering from glomerulonephritis. L-form cultures were isolated in 11 cases. The cultures were isolated both at the active phase and during the remission. Three L-form cultures reverted into streptococci spontaneously. The revertants showed a sharp difference from the L-forms by the cell morphology and also by the colour and morphology of the colonies.
