    Two cases of massive rectal bleeding due to tuberculosis of the intestine are described and 24 reported cases of massive rectal bleeding in intestinal tuberculosis are reviewed. Tuberculosis of the intestine, though uncommon should be considered as a cause for rectal bleeding.
