The resulting hybrid clones express one or more T-cell-specific surface components identifiable by radioiodination of intact cells followed by NP-40 solubilization of membrane proteins and sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. These markers are stably expressed by the hybrid lines after several months of passage.
