The value of tomography for the diagnosis of tumours is stressed. Besides that, the contrast was used for visulization of intracerebral cavities, emptied abscesses, cavities in astrocytomas and intracerebral haematoma. Complications following the use of Dimer-X for direct filling of the ventricular system are discussed.
