Management by objectives is a better way to run a dental practice. The required planning will take additional time in the initial stages but can save a great deal of time in the long run. The major requirement is the establishment of specific measurable objectives over a defined period of time. Encouraging your staff to participate whenever possible will result in better objectives, more commitment, and greater motivation. By stating where you want to go and developing plans to reach this destination, you will be able to work smarter and not harder.
