Summary: This open access book describes the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of anal incontinence. Anal incontinence is a devastating condition that heavily impacts on the patients' lives. Those suffering from this disorder are generally highly embarrassed and reluctant to undergo appropriate clinical evaluation, thus becoming more isolated and worsening their quality of life.
