Brachium pontis exposed
On the right side of the lingula, central lobule, quadrangular lobule and part of the superior semilunar lobule have been removed so that the brachium conjunctivum and brachium pontis are visible. The brain stem is sectioned at the junction of pons and mesencephalon.
1 . Horizontal cerebellar sulcus (sulcus intercruralis)
2 . Inferior semilunar lobe (crus II ansiform lobule)
3 . Medullary substance of posterior part quadrangular lobule (simplex lobule)
4 . Brachium conjunctivum (superior cerebellar peduncle)
5 . Brachium pontis (middle cerebellar peduncle)
6 . Superior semilunar lobe (crus I ansiform lobule)
7 . Posterior superior fissure
8 . Posterior part quadrangular lobule (simplex lobule)
9 . Primary fissure
10 . Anterior part quadrangular lobule (continuous with Culmen of monticulus)
