Vascular malformations and other vascular lesions. - Bookby Max Born and Emil Wolf, with contributions by A. B. Bhatia ... [et al.].Summary: The latest edition in the field of physical optics incorporates revisions to the text and illustrations, as well as references to recent contributions to the literature. The historical introduction is followed by detailed information clearly presented on all aspects of the subject including basic properties of the electromagnetic field, geometrical theory of optical imaging, elements of the theory of aberrations and the optics of crystals. The primary advantage of this technique is that it can salvage many restorations which might otherwise require remaking to achieve a satisfactory esthetic result. The disadvantage of the technique is its lack of universal application. There are situations which, due to the nature of the fracture or the framework, are not suitable for this repair technique.
