Printing Instructions for Lane & Li Ka Shing Center 4th Floor

To print from a LAPTOP and Lane DESKTOP COMPUTERS:

Step 1

  • Select "Print" from your application
  • For printers located at Lane Library, choose "Lane BW Printer" or"Lane Color Printer"
  • SoM Students ONLY: For Li Ka Shing Center printer, choose "LKSC-Floor4-Printer"
  • Click OK

Step 2

  • Type a name for your print job on "Print Job Details"screen
  • Click "Print"

Step 3

  • Go to the Print Release Station by the printer. Here is a sample of the screen of the release station:

Step 4

All print jobs arranged by

  • Job name
  • Job owner (logon name at the workstation which is usually the SUNet ID)
  • The time job was sent the print
To Print
  • Select your job to print
  • If you don’t see it being listed, click on the Refresh button
  • Jobs are automatically deleted after 2 hours
  • Please select and delete the unwanted job to clear up the queue

Printing from Your Laptop

Your laptop must be registered and connected to Stanford network and you need to install the Pharos Popup software first:

Install to Print at Lane

Install to Print at Li Ka Shing

Error Messages

If you get this error message: "Debit denied, Patron info not found for SVC Plan 30" after you swipe your Stanford ID card, please send a HelpSU request.

In the ticket, include your Sunet ID and the error message. Someone from University card office will try to help you ASAP.
