The third molar (dens serotinus) is absent in this specimen. The central incisor (1) has a deeper lingual fossa than is commonly encountered. The contact surfaces of the teeth (19, 20, 26) are labeled in accordance with modern dental terminology as well as with the conventional BNA names. In the modern system the contact surfaces are named mesial or distal with reference to the midline of the dental arch.
