In an earlier sequence of views (140-4 ff.) the lymphatic structures related to the stomach have been shown. In this and the following views, lymphatic vessels and nodes have been removed as necessary to display blood vessels and nerves which reach the stomach.

1. Liver
2. Lesser omentum (within fissure of ligamentum venosum)
3. Upper pointer: Caudate lobe Lower pointer: Accessory hepatic artery (branch of left gastric artery)
4. Margin of gastropancreatic fold of peritoneum which covered left gastric artery
5. Upper pointer: Left gastric artery Lower pointer: Pancreas (covered by peritoneum)
6. Proper hepatic artery
7. Common bile duct
8. Epiploic foramen
9. Pylorus
10. Head of pancreas
11. Right gastroepiploic artery
12. Esophagus
13. Left vagus nerve
14. Thoracic aorta
15. Esophageal hiatus
16. Stomach
17. Spleen
18. Left gastroepiploic artery (no anastomosis with right gastroepiploic artery in this specimen)
19. Splenic vein
20. Tail of pancreas
21. Epiploic branch left gastroepiploic artery
22. Transverse colon
23. Descending colon
