Roy William Cauwet was born in California on September 8, 1925. He received his MD from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1952 and was board certified in obstetrics and gynecology in 1960. He was a clinical professor at Stanford University Hospital and was a member of San Mateo County AMA, Pacific Coast Fertility Society, and American Fertility Society. Since his retirement May 1, 1989, he is emeritus staff at Stanford University Hospitals. Dr. Cauwet served in the Army 1943-1946. He and his wife, Carol, have five children.

This collection includes biographical information and photographs. There are three autobiograhical documents: 1948 questionnaire, 1984 curriculum vitae, and 1993 curriculum vitae. The photographs are six color prints, four of which are from the class of 1952's 40th reunion.
