More of the zygomatic arch has been cut away. The temporal muscle (19) has been detached from its extensive origin (11) and reflected laterally.

1. Zygomaticotemporal branches of zygomatic nerve
2. Orbital margin
3. Cut surface of zygomatic bone
4. Deep anterior temporal artery
5. Zygomaticofacial branch zygomatic nerve
6. Anterior deep temporal nerve
7. Filaments from buccinator nerve anastomosing with branches of anterior deep temporal nerve
8. Buccinator muscle
9. Molar glands
10. Parotid duct
11. Origin of temporalis muscle
12. Infratemporal crest and masseteric nerve (emerging beneath ligamentous band along bone)
