Dissection of thoracic and lumbosacral regions of back from a posterior approach
Left levator scapulae and rhomboid muscles; nerve supply to rhomboid major
The fascia covering the levator scapulae and the rhomboid muscles has been removed. The parallel fascicles of the rhomboideus major have been freed of connective tissue and separated to reveal the course of the dorsal scapular nerve and branches of the transverse cervical artery.
