The superficial nerves have been preserved along with the major superficial venous pathways. The dorsal fascia of the foot has been partially removed.

1. Dorsal medial cutaneous nerve
2. Greater saphenous vein
3. Saphenous nerve
4. Medial malleolus
5. Inferior extensor retinaculum
6. Extensor hallucis brevis muscle
7. Dorsalis pedis artery
8. Venous arch of dorsalis pedis
9. Deep peroneal nerve
10. Extensor hallucis longus muscle (tendon)
11. Superior extensor retinaculum
12. Dorsal intermediate cutaneous nerve
13. Lateral malleolus
14. Tendinous sheath of extensor digitorum longus muscle
15. Extensor digitorum brevis muscle
16. Branch of deep peroneal nerve to lateral side of second toe
17. Fascia of dorsalis pedis
18. Extensor digitorum brevis muscle (tendons)
