Female perineum
Posterior labial nerves and vessels
The deep perineal fascia has been resected from the left half of the dissection. The major branches of the posterior labial nerves and vessels (12) that lay deep to this layer have been freed of their connective tissue investments. Still remaining in place is a layer of fascia (14) that covers the ischiocavernosus, bulbospongiosus and superficial transverse perineal muscles.
