The abductor pollicis brevis (7) and superficial head of the flexor pollicis brevis (8) have been elevated and partially resected.
- Proper palmar digital nerves of median nerve
- Adductor pollicis muscle (transverse head)
- Branch of median nerve to metacarpophalangeal joint and tendon sheath of thumb
- Lumbrical muscle I
- Proximal phalanx thumb (covered by periosteum)
- Ligament of digital sheath
- Abductor pollicis brevis muscle (elevated)
- Flexor pollicis brevis muscle (superficial head, elevated)
- Muscular branch of ulnar nerve (to flexor pollicis brevis muscle)
- Flexor pollicis longus muscle (tendon of insertion)
- Opponens pollicis muscle (reflected laterally)
- Flexor pollicis brevis muscle (deep head)
- First carpometacarpal joint capsule
- Transverse carpal ligament
- Muscular branch of median nerve (recurrent branch, displaced medially)
- Median artery (large)
- Common palmar digital nerves of median nerve
- Adductor pollicis muscle (oblique head)
- Anterior common digital artery (to thumb and index finger)
