2 . Area of origin of Gluteus medius muscle
3 . Iliac crest
4 . Superior gluteal nerve (to gluteus minimus and tensor fasciae latae)
5 . Gluteus minimus muscle
6 . Tensor fasciae latae muscle
7 . Gluteus medius muscle (insertion)
8 . Greater trochanter
9 . Gluteus maximus muscle (cut off near insertion)
10 . Superior gluteal vein
11 . Piriform muscle (emerging through Greater sciatic foramen)
