Nerve supply to gracilis muscle, anterior view

The adductor longus has been cut away. The gracilis has been turned medially and dissected to reveal branches of the obturator nerve that penetrate the muscle.

1. Pectineus muscle
2. Adductor longus muscle (tendon of origin)
3. Anterior branch of obturator nerve (to gracilis muscle)
4. Gracilis muscle
5. Adductor brevis muscle
6. Posterior branch of obturator nerve
7. Deep femoral artery (muscular branches)
8. Adductor magnus muscle
9. Femoral nerve
10. Femoral artery
11. Lateral femoral circumflex artery
12. Tensor fasciae latae muscle
13. Deep femoral artery
14. Vastus intermedius muscle
