Document Delivery

Lane's document delivery service is known as DocXpress. SHC, LPCH, and Stanford University School of Medicine staff, faculty and students are eligible to use this service. Other Stanford University affiliates, see Stanford University Libaries' Interlibrary Services.

You will need to register for a DocXpress account only once. Once registered, you will be able to:

  • enjoy Web delivery of articles
  • track the progress of each request
  • view a history of all items you have requested

Items not held at a Stanford Library

There is no fee for DocXpress when requesting items not held at any Stanford Library. Use Socrates to check all libraries.

Pull & Copy Service

You can request Lane staff to "pull and copy" articles held at Lane or another Stanford library for a fee. See our fees.
