Loan periods

Registration is required to borrow; see below. All materials are subject to recall.

• Audio Digest tapes: 7 days
• Books: 4 weeks
• Core textbooks: 2 Hours / Overnight within one hour of closing
• Course Reserves: periods vary
• Exam Reviews: 3 days. Medical Students only.
• Journals: 3 days
• Special Collections and Reference Materials do not circulate.

Registration

Library registration is required to borrow materials. Select the appropriate form below. Fax the completed form to (650) 725-7471 or bring it to the Service Desk at Lane. Please update your registration annually by phoning (650) 723-6831 or

• School of Medicine & SHC/LPCH Hospital employees, please bring the form with your ID.
• Proxy (Research Assistant)
• Individuals and companies may purchase borrowing privileges at Lane for a fee.

Families and alumni of SUMC are eligible for borrowing. Please use the School of Medicine & SHC/LPCH form above.
