About Lane

Lane Medical Library and Knowledge Management Center is a division of Information Resources & Technology in the School of Medicine.

Lane is comprised of the following departments:

Access Services

Access Services manages and provides patron access to the print and online collections and Lane's physical facilities.

Knowledge Integration

Knowledge Integration staff develop and support search and discovery applications to simplify the workflow of clinicians, researchers, and biomedical trainees at the Stanford University Medical Center.

Research & Instruction

Research & Instruction provides access to information resources and reference and consultation at the point of need in support of the Stanford University Medical Center.

Resource Management

Resource Management staff acquire/license digital content and other library materials, organize and facilitate access to resources in support information services related to Stanford's biomedical research, education, and patient care missions.
