What is the Healing Hearts project?

Healing HeARTS is a children's advocacy project established by a coalition of staff at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and students at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

The missions of this project are to encourage and support the creative expressions of children at LPCH, to build pride and self-esteem in children at LPCH by displaying their creations, and to increase community awareness of issues surrounding the hospitalization and illnesses of children.

This project is made possible by generous support from the Department of Pediatrics at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Additional funding was kindly provided by the Auxiliaries of Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, the Government Relations Department at LPCH, the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, the Stanford Medical School Association (SMSA) , and the LPCH School Fund.

Feedback, suggestions, and donations to help support this project are welcome. For more information on how you can help this project, please .

Lane is hosting an exhibition of Healing HeARTS artwork from December 2005 through February 2006.
