There's a class I'd like to take, but it's not at a good time for me. What are my options?

If the scheduled time for a class or workshop is not convenient, or if you need the information prior to the next scheduled class, there are several ways we can help you.

Customized group sessions: For a class taught by Lane staff, we can schedule a one-on-one consultation or a customized group session. In a customized session, we can also include topics or databases that are not part of the regularly-scheduled classes, e.g., PsycInfo, MicroMedex, finding images, etc. Contact your Lane liaison or the Lane service desk: 650-723-6831 or email laneaskus@stanford.edu.

Personal consultations: Schedule a consulting appointment with your Lane liaison or the class instructor.

Tutorials and handouts: On the Classes & Webcasts, there are links to "class extras" next to each class description. These class extras include online tutorials, handouts, and other helpful resources that are available 24X7. See also the Classes & Webcasts Archives.
