What is it?

HotBooks is a quarterly listing of a small number of books (whether physical or electronic) believed to be of substantial relevance to research in the life sciences ongoing at Stanford. It is prepared by a Lane Librarian.

Why HotBooks?

HotBooks lists books that are...
  • ... being read by Stanford clinicians and life science researchers, and would likely be helpful to other clinicians/researchers
  • ... applicable to ongoing research performed at Stanford
  • ... recent and of high quality

What are HotBooks good for?

HotBooks are intended to facilitate interdisciplinary research by providing quality introductions and surveys of fields outside one's immediate area of specialization.
