is a quarterly listing of a small number of books (whether physical or electronic) believed to be of substantial relevance to research in the life sciences ongoing at Stanford. It is prepared by a Lane Librarian.

What are HotBooks good for?
HotBooks are intended to facilitate interdisciplinary research by providing quality introductions and surveys of fields outside one's immediate area of specialization.
