What is the Grant Building?

The Joseph D. Grant Building is part of the main medical center complex at Stanford University designed by Edward Durrell Stone. Constructed in 1959, it was originally known as the Science Building and the Clinical Sciences Research Building. The room numbers retain the S designation. It was named for Joseph Donohoe Grant, 1858-1942.
