Connect from Off-Campus
When using Lane Website from off-campus, a current SUNet ID is required to access fee-based materials licensed by Lane and other Stanford libraries as well as Stanford proprietary materials.
To access these resources from off campus:
- Get a SUNet ID.
- Click the link for the resource you want on the Lane website. You will be prompted for your SUNet ID after selecting a resource.
When off campus, you also have to the option of keeping your browser logged in for up to 2 weeks by clicking on "Off Campus Login" in the upper right of all Lane's Web pages (seen only from non-Stanford Internet addresses) and following the instructions.
NOTE: When you are finished with your browser session, quit the browser to log out. If you do not, anyone subsequently using your computer will be able to use the browser program to go to Web Authenticated websites, and the websites will treat that person as you.
