Title: Historical Curator Drew Bourn is the Historical Curator at Lane Medical Library's Archives and Special Collections. He oversees donations, preservation, security, outreach and exhibitions, reference, and access to rare books, archival collections, and historic medical instruments. Drew came to Stanford from Harvard Medical School, where he was a reference archivist at the Center for the History of Medicine in the Countway Library. Presently, Drew is a PhD candidate in history, and is working on a dissertation in the history of early San Francisco. As someone with formal training as both an historian and an archivist, Drew is interested in the ways in which historians' and archivists' methodologies affect one anothers' work.
