Clinical Research Methodology: An Epidemiologic Perspective

By the end of this presentation, the participants will be able to: 1) choose the appropriate study design for testing a specific hypothesis of interest, 2) compute  interpret the measures of association (e.g., risk ratio, rate ratio, odds ratio, and prevalence ratio), 3) identify the appropriate statistical test(s) needed for the analysis of data, 4) explain approaches that could minimize bias in different stages of a research study,5) explain approaches that could maximize precision in different stages of a research study.
