Using R for Gene Expression Analysis: Part 1
Video Available *SUNetID required
Part 1 will focus on using R to importing data, perform quality controls, and pre-processing data before extracting a gene list. We will work with a sample data set from Affymetrix and compare the differences with data from Agilent.
The lecture is based on several books:
- Bioinformatics and computational biology solutions using R and Bioconductor: http://tiny.cc/adbn6
- Bioconductor case studies: http://tiny.cc/oival
- Finding Groups in Data: http://tiny.cc/1xru4
About the Instructor:
Attendees should have the skills covered in the "Basics of R Programming Part 1" and "Basics of R Programming Part 2 " sessions.
Attendees must have completed the instructions installing R on a Windows Machine or a Mac before taking this class.
