Introduction to R for Beginners - Day 1
R is a statistical programming language commonly used for biological data analysis.
In a series of three classes, students will get sufficient introduction to R to get
them started on analyzing their own data. The first day of the class will be a basic
introduction to R, Day 2 will focus on using R to analyze microarray data including
quality control and normalization, and Day 3 will focus on creating gene lists. Students
might be able to bring in their own data for analysis on Day 3.
This class is open to postdocs (clinical and basic science) and graduate students only
Instructor: David Ruau, is a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford.
