LabArchive: Lab Data Storage, Integration and Sharing

Earl B. Beutler, President and CEO of LabArchives, LLC, will present a short training
course on their innovative new Electronic Laboratory Product. LabArchives is a web-based
product that enables users to securely store, share, and publish laboratory data from
any computer that is connected to the web. He will demonstrate the basic functions
of LabArchives, including how to share data within your lab or across the globe, and
how to make selected information publicly viewable. He will also show how LabArchives
integrates with other leading scientific software, including GraphPad Prism and Treestar's
FlowJo product, as well as discuss future development plans.
About the Instructor:
Mr. Beutler was the co-founder of Research Information System, Inc, developers of
Reference Manager and Reference Update, the first bibliographic management software
and diskette-based current awareness service now owned by Thomson-Reuters. Mr. Beutler
was also a founder and CEO of RefWorks, the first web-based bibliographic software
acquired by ProQuest in 2008. He has a B.A. in Biology from the University of California,
San Diego, and an M.S. in Medical Information Systems from the University of California,
San Francisco
