The cornea and anterior part of the sclera have been cut away and the iris reflected to display the anterior surface of the lens (3) and the zonular fibers (5) which attach to the anterior and posterior surface of the lens at its lateral margin. The pectinate ligament is visible along the lower margin of the iris (10). The specimen is transilluminated.
